Purpose: A fun introductory program focused on confidence, creativity, hair care, hand coordination, and foundational braiding skills. The tools should be age-appropriate and the program should emphasize supervised practice.
What they learn: Hair and scalp basics, sanitation and keeping a clean workspace, detangling and preparing hair, sectioning and parting, proper comb and brush use, three-strand braiding, basic plaits, beginner cornrows, two-strand twists, simple braid designs, finishing/styling techniques, and caring for their tools.
